The starting point for the workshop AFTER ABY is the examination and reflection of one's own work and the images that have been produced. For this purpose, one of the students' works (painting, sculpture, etc.) is to be selected. From the work selected by the students one or more details are to be taken out and examined more closely. The point is to gain knowledge from the information about their own works, or as Aby Werbung called it, to comment on "pictures with pictures". Like detective work, the motives and influences on one's own work are to be investigated and analyzed: Where do the objects, forms, and themes come from? Are they historical or contemporary? From a digital context or from modern painting?
