In past period, five buildings constructed from various structural systems and material combinations have been chosen (see the Technical Sheet 1.2.3.1-5) with the aim to assess construction and energy performance of the buildings and to specify technicaland operation concepts for new functions of the regenerated brownfields. All buildings are located in the region of Ostrava that was loaded in past with heavy industry and mining activities. The purpose of the assessment was to define such criteria andactions that would motivate the investor and persuade him that the building is suitable for a new function in the regenerated brownfield. The assessment model used for the assessment of the buildings is based on the multi-criterion analysis.
