The purpose of this document is to show possible ways of addressing brownfields focused on technical equipment of the city and also the application of the current methodology of innovative methods in the form of trenchless technology in these areas. Theactual article, in its introduction, deals with the general issue of brownfields, especially the problems of existing, usually completely inadequate and dysfunctional structures of technical equipment which are located in these locations. The possibilities of using these existing utilities are also described here, using the trenchless technology as a tool for the recovery of such pipes, mostly water lines, sewage systems, or gas pipelines. The document also deals with the possibilities of using the areaof the old sewage treatment plant in Ostrava - Přívoz. The location of the area and assessment of its current state is described here. Then the ways in which the solution can be prepared for the revitalization of the area are characteriz
