Finishes of wooden surface and changes their light-fastness due to artificial aging
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The wood surface, which is exposed to atmospheric and biological influences such as sunlight, rain, dust, rot or biological pest, is extremely stressed and subsequently its damage occurs. Present impregnating glazes can protect against these effects, butthe color changes arise by exposure to the sun over time and I can be unattractive to customers. The research subject is to compare color changes of impregnating glazes depending on time for conventional available materials, Scots pine (Pinus sylvestrisL.) and Norway spruce (Picea abies L.), which have been used for facade systems. Each sample was treated with acrylic glaze and then subjected to accelerated aging due to UV radiation. The results present the color change determined by the colorimeter upon exposure of wooden exterior facade in real conditions over time.
