Název v původním jazyce
Historical development stages of construction of apartment houses
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The construction of dwelling spaces is not only a tool for the satisfaction of every person’s needs, but it also means production of the smallest elements which form a town as a whole. Similarly to, for instance, the clothing and car industries, electrical engineering or other branches of economic production, even residential buildings - apartment houses are subject to various fashion waves created in the course of time. Otherwise, branches such as architecture or art history would hardly have appeared; moreover, even architecture would probably not be an art if all buildings were made according to a predetermined standard, with minor variations only. Certainly, the change in the appearance of apartment houses over time was also given by the gradual use of new construction materials, thanks to new technologies, apart from the specific local conditions of every construction. Therefore, because every historical period is unique just as every individual building is unique, different production costs are required for every building, to which one should also add the historical value of buildings and their technical state or typology.
