The Cross-validated Calibration of Hargreaves-Samani Evaporation Model on Lake Most
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
Evaporation is one of the fundamental components of the water cycle in nature and affects almost all aspects of human society. Especially in the context of global climate change, understanding this process is increasingly important. However, the process itself is also very complex and is influenced by many factors, making it very difficult to estimate its magnitude. As a benchmark, the Penman-Monteith equation is generally accepted, which estimates evaporation using air temperature, atmospheric pressure, wind speed, net radiation, changes in heat storage in water and others. Since measurements of these values may not always be available, many simplified methods have been proposed. In this paper, we consider the Hargreaves-Samani method and the calibration of its parameters by optimizing statistical measures against the Penman-Monteith equation.
