An essay of firefighting vehicles' reliability
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
This paper summarizes the results of the study and evaluation of primary data on the operation of firefighting equipment with a focus on exit vehicle type water tenders. A total of 75 vehicles were evaluated within the project. Vehicles on the chassis TATRA, Renault, MAN and Mercedes-Benz have been selected for the monitoring. Vehicle operation was evaluated for the period 2010-2013. Monitored fire equipment is operated in professional units of the Fire Rescue Service (FRS) of the Czech Republic in Moravian-Silesian, South Moravian and Zlín Regions. Primary analysis focused on the utilization of exit and other activities was performed at first. There were mileage and hours of machine work, i.e. operation of vehicle engines on the place, evaluated at the beginning. Availability of the monitored equipment was evaluated in terms of reliability. Selected characteristics of reliability and maintainability in terms of professional fire units' activity were determined.
