Applied basic simulation and methodology of possible attacks on soft targets in cities
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The safety of buildings and the people inside them is a priority for every organisation. Theatres and concerts are no exception. Their security is affected by many threats, including terrorist attacks. Such attacks are mostly carried out in the form of a bomb attack and are often aimed at soft targets. Theatres can also be included among such places. Determining the probability that an attack will occur is an important task that answers the question of whether an attack needs to be addressed. The aim of the article was to analyse and present methods by which it is possible to determine the probability of a bomb attack on selected soft targets. The article presented two methods that can be used to solve the problem, namely the Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) and the Event Tree Analysis (ETA) methods. In addition, the article described the possibilities of securing selected soft targets.
