This paper describes the design and calibration of special gauges to check the selected parameters of wheelset. The focus of the solution is a proposal for such modifications of existing gauges to meet the more stringent requirements for dimensional accuracy of wheelset. The paper presents the results of the practical examination of the suitability of the design.
