Deployment of technical diagnostics during commissioning of small pumped storage hydropower plant
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
This article is dedicated to issues of commissioning of a small pumped storage hydropower plant in mine. Pumped storage hydropower plants are one of several ways to solve the problem of non-constant power consumption from the mains. This hydropower plant, we are going to deal with in this article, is located at Jeremenko mine in Ostrava, 580 meters below the surface of the earth. The entire facility is composed of Pelton turbine, Bibi's coupling and a generator of electrical energy. There will be described the issues during commissioning as well as methods of technical nondisaassembly diagnostics to eliminate these, mainly mechanical problems. One of the problems during initial commissioning of this hydropower plant was low bearing life of Pelton turbine. These bearings worked only 3 hours of operation than occurred their destruction. One of the causes of this very short life of bearings, among others, misalignment of bearing housing, which even used bearings could not compensate. The article should point out the mistakes which is possible to commit on the device from many causes. © SGEM2017 All Rights Reserved.
