COOPERATION BETWEEN THE UNIVERSITY AND INDUSTRY - THE BASIS FOR NEW TECHNOLOGIES AND EQUIPMENT
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The GAMA project created a scientific team consisting of VSB - Technical University of Ostrava scientists and students and industrial practice members. The aim was to find an innovative technology for the solution of sensing the mechanical-physical properties of particulate material in storage systems. No less simple task was to develop equipment for this purpose. The success was not only innovative technologies and equipment, but also utility model no. CZ31670, patent no. CZ307521 and two industrial designs no. CZ37290 and CZ37291 (see www.upv.cz). Using the innovative approach of collaboration between scientists, students and practitioners, the above results have been achieved. All innovative technical improvements were simulated using the DEM numerical program, which is becoming a common part of higher education. In cooperation with technical practice, the innovative equipment has been manufactured and tested for a long time under real conditions, thus confirming the conclusions predicted by the simulation in the DEM program.
