Technical report on scene monitoring and big data evaluation for life cycle cost of equipment
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
Within the topic of big data and life cycle cost evaluation, variables were selected for diagnosis and predictive maintenance of the control unit assembly and assembly station. The MQTT protocol and ProfiNET/S7 connector were used here. Using the Siemens Industrial EDGE platform, an application was developed for the acquisition, storage, processing and visualization of a large volume of data, with the aim of providing predictive maintenance of components and evaluating the life cycle costs of equipment. The monitoring of the scene was focused on tests with camera systems for the detection of interlayers in KLT boxes with the aim of determining the coordinates of the dividing planes of the interlayers as input information for the robotic product insertion system. A platform for placing lighting fixtures and a camera system with controlled lighting was designed and tested, enabling the control of up to 6 independent light sources. Part of the overall solution is the design of an algorithm using the so-called dynamic shadow method, enabling the processing of the acquired image into the form of coordinates of the inner walls of the interlinings.
