DTC of a permanent magnet synchronous machine supplied by a voltage - source inverter. Beside many advantages of PMSM it isn´t widely accepted by industry. Main reason of this fact is higher price of the machine especially price of permanent magnets. Ifthe permanent magnets price decreases so price of the entire drive will decrease too. At present its important to deal with problems concerning PMSM control.
