The aim of the work is developing of a new module for combining images from video or frames from mining measurement for later processing and the correction of 2D objects in the image. The paper is divided into several parts. The first section describes digital image processing and its applications. There is described a method of combining images, which is used to create a high-quality picture or picture with higher resolution. The next section describes the design of the module. It was used NetBeans platform with Netbeans IDE, a library for fast creation of applications in image processing such as Java Advanced Imaging and video library Xuggler, which you can use to encode and decode video. Furthermore, the paper describes the implementation of the module and the results of the module testing on the mining images. The generated module was subsequently added to the latest version of FOTOM-NG system.
