Wide Area Measurement Systems (WAMS) that provide time synchronized measurements have been more widely used around the world in the last ten years. Especially due to development of renewable energy sources and building of Grids their main use will lie intheir share of management of energy systems. There is PMU data exchange between countries in EU. Although in different countries of Europe PMU of different manufacturers have been implemented their data are centrally utilized for management of energy systems. The goal of this work was use of a developed system for PMU testing for the purpose of obtaining sample PMU test results. There are not many PMU testing systems in the world and they are unique. The developed testing system allows generation of arbitrary progression of a test signal, whose goal is to verify behavior of the tested phasor measurement unit. The progression of generated signal with precise time marks is saved, together with measured data from tested PMU.
