'CHARACTERIZATION OF AIR POLLUTION IN MORAVIA-SILESIA REGION
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
Moravian-Silesian region in the Czech Republic is one of the most polluted areas in the Europe. The air from this region suffers the impact of metallurgical industry and associated industries. This pollution has direct influence to human health and economy. This paper presents the possibilities of the air monitoring methods used in this region Results of automatic air pollution monitoring and moss biomonitoring were compared with results of mathematical modeling. Research of automatic air pollution monitoring was based on the measurement of unmanned aerial vehicles and exploration of vertical profiles of ground layers of atmosphere. The method of using moss biomonitoring were verified in small scale, especially in areas around industrial factories and residencies. Samples were analyzed by neutron activation analysis, inductively coupled plasma and atomic absorption spectrometry. Moss survey enabled compared real distribution pollutants in the air with mathematical models and determined inaccuracy. The. results, which were evaluated, show that it is possible with combination of above described methods to obtain relevant data. For the future it is necessary to manage correlation of moss biomonitoring, mathematical modeling and measurements by unmanned aerial vehicles.
