The present contribution describes partial results of research, which focused on long-term biotopes mapping of the former ash pond from coal power plant. For more accurate statement changes in the of vegetation study area were used aerial orthophotomaps of 1958, 2000, 2003, 2006 and 2009 years (1:7500), where you can explore the area without the ash pond (1958) and then after the end of the activities on the ash pond (2009). Missing map data from 1958-1998 do not allow accurate calculation of the ash pond when it was fully functional. The value for 1970 was calculated based on the documentation.
