Evaluation of estimating water needs of plants according to meteorological measurements
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
On the basis of measurements recorded by two automatic weather stations, located in Poland and Slovakia was calculated evapotranspiration (ET0) according to the formula developed by Hargreaves. The results were compared with the reference model recommended by the FAO, which adopted the Penman-Monteith model (PM). A high correlation between the reference model and a simplified model is shown Hergreavesa. The differences concern the level of evapotranspiration based on formulas developed. Hargreaves modelgives a higher value compared with the formula PM. For the application of Penman-Monteith model in practice is much needed meteorological parameters that are required. Lack of access to specific meteorological data is a serious limitation. Hergreavesa method may be used, but it requires further research in both our foreign and climatic conditions in order to verify their empirical factors.
