This paper describes some new perspectives on Information systems with utilization of Internet of Things technology. Hierarchical information system with distributed data source is discussed from point of view of dispatching and control systems (SCADA, HMI) and standardization process. The paper is complemented by the perspective of Internet of Things ? Internet of Processes, Internet of Services with spin off to virtual reality presentation, especially usage of augmented reality, which can be used as display tool where the better understanding of process is demanded. Models and simulation of technological processes are discussed too.
