METHODOLOGY FOR EMISSION QUANTITY ASSASSMENT IN LOCAL ROAD TRANSPORT
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
Air protection and emission production is a currently important topic, mainly in terms of greenhouse gas emissions. In the Czech Republic emission analyses of major air pollutants (PM, SO2, NOx, CO) have been done since 1994. These emission analyses areexecuted by the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute, whose founder is the Ministry of the Environment of the Czech Republic. This article briefly introduces emission productions in the Czech Republic. The emissions analyses are structured according to the main pollution groups/categories (large, medium and stationary sources of air pollution and mobile sources of air pollution), including the legislative context. Attention is also paid to the determination of the traffic intensity and the average amountof traffic emissions in a specific part of one road in Ostrava City. In this way emissions are calculated for the dispersion study in the Czech Republic. This type of emission analyses are processed for the same part of the road periodic
