Methods of multivariate statistical analysis were used for identification of influence of industrial pollution sources on the air quality in Moravian-Silesian Region (MSR), the Czech Republic. Atmospheric concentrations of Cd, Pb, Co, Cr, Ni, Mn, Fe, Zn,Cu, Sb, V, Sr and As were monitored at 40 localities in MSR during the summer 2014. The cluster analysis divided the localities into 3 clusters. The cluster I (15 localities) is characterized by the highest concentrations of all analyzed elements. Cluster I corresponds to the contamination produced by element association Co - Cr - Ni - Mn - Fe. The 12 localities in cluster II are situated geographically in the area between Ostrava, Bohumin, Karvina, Orlova, Cesky Tesin and Havirov together with localities from cluster I. The cluster III contains the localities with the lowest load. Most of these localities are situated in the region north-west of Ostrava, region of the Jesenik Mts, with exception of the locality Ostravice, Celadná.
