Economic activity has always been linked with the natural and social environment in which it develops, no activity is conceived that does not interact with any element of the environment in which it operates, the absence of environmental awareness has been one of the main reasons why until into the twentieth century scholars of the economy have not addressed in depth analysis of the economy-environment interaction. From the point of view of sustainable development, it is concerned about the economic expansion of the world economy causing irreparable damage to our planet.
