This contribution undertakes cost intensity of the production grey cast iron and ductile cast iron in 5 tunes oxy-fuel rotary batch melting furnace. Present adverts to signification these furnaces for their low energy intensity, high heat efficiency andpossibility of exploitation them for steel scrap re-melting. In this paper are mentioned results of the analysis the space for costs reduction of the heats and the possibility of application the method of continuous monitoring the costs in foundry STROJTEX. Below is stated the tool of continuous monitoring the costs - so called the data list of the heat in the oxy-fuel rotary batch melting furnace. Appreciation of the cost intensity of the production in the oxy-fuel rotary batch melting furnace and hercontrol is solved under condition the Czech foundries for the first time.
