User´s specification of maintenance control system on continuous casting device

Determination of user's requirements on system is a necessary condition of its development. It shows that certain neglects in this stage can impact very negatively to the further stage and also to the final product. User's requirements mentioned in the system specification essentially distinguish from information described by technical specialists in the stage of its projection. If basic quality criteria are respected, requirements specification on system can be a contribution for the submitter and alsofor the solver of system. On Department of Automation and Computer Applications in Metallurgy, VŠB-Technical University of Ostrava problems of maintenance control are solved in the framework of grant projects 106/02/0086. Within this solution also a system of computer support of maintenance control of continuous casting device is created including: monitoring device state, reports and configurations for maintenance activities control, maintenance effectiveness evaluation and exercise of
