The paper deals with study of phase transformation temperatures of four real grades of micro-alloyed steels in the temperature range below 1000°C with use of the DTA-method (differential thermal analysis). The analysed systems are characterised by different content of carbon, some alloying elements and impurities. The temperatures of the phase transformation have been obtained for the region of eutectoid transformation and transition ferrite - austenite. Investigated systems were analysed at heating/cooling rate of 7°C/min. The system for simultaneous thermal analysis Setaram SETSYS 18TM TG/DTA/TMA was used for experimental measurements. The obtained experimental temperatures are compared with experimental data presented by other authors, with temperatures calculated according to the formulas given in available literature, and with temperatures calculated with help of the IDS software. The obtained findings require further systematic research in this area.
