Effects of microstructural changes on mechanical properties of cold rolled and annealed strips from S420 MC and S500 MC microalloyed steels
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
Development of microstructure and effect of structural changes on mechanical properties of two types of HSLA steel after laboratory cold rolling and annealing was studied. Samples of hot rolled strips with thickness of 4 mm underwent laboratory cold rolling in several passes with relative height reduction in the range of 5 to 75 %. The rolled out samples were annealed in the vacuum furnace with protective atmosphere of 90 % N2 + 10 % H2. Mechanical properties of the annealed samples were found out: elongation A80 [%], yield stress YS [MPa], ultimate tensile strength UTS [MPa] and ratio YS/UTS [%]. The samples were investigated by means of metallographic methods to explain the influence of cold deformation and annealing on the resulting mechanical properties. Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) analysis was used for identification of minority phases and evaluation of differences in quantity, size, shape and distribution of precipitates. Character of ferritic grains, as well as proper
