Influence of the finish rolling temperature and cooling in Garret coilers on the structural and mechanical properties of steels 42CrMo4 and 23MnNiCrMo52
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
A physical simulation of the controlled rolling and cooling of the selected types of steel was performed in the laboratory rolling mill Tandem in the Institute of modelling and control of forming processes at VŠB-TU Ostrava. The task was to determine theinfluence of the finish rolling and coiling temperature on the structural and mechanical properties of the rolled products. The microstructure of the rolled products from steel 42CrMo4 after cooling in the furnace is composed mostly of pearlite with islands of ferritic grains. The accelerated cooling resulted in the origin of the hardening phases. The structure of the rolled products from steel 23MnNiCrMo52 after cooling in the air is created with bainite. After different modes of rolling and cooling in the furnace, the structure of this material is more different than in the case of steel 42CrMo4, even though it is in all cases composed of ferrite, bainite and islands of martensite. The results of the tensile tests indicated that stee
