Metallographic Evaluation of TRIP Steel Hot Rolled on TANDEM Laboratory Mill
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
Performed laboratory experiments of TRIP steel hot rolling on the laboratory TANDEM mill had the aim to simulate hot rolling on two stands of the Steckel mill. Laboratory hot rolled experiment was divided into three parts based on different finish rolling deformation conditions. Further to this also different finish rolling temperatures and finish cooling temperatures were set in order to evaluate their influence on material. Laboratory hot rolled TRIP steel strips were subsequently tested in order to determine their mechanical properties and microstructure of the samples was in detail analysed by metallography. Mechanical testing performed on the samples confirmed mechanical properties at the levels, which are characteristic for TRIP steel. Microstructure of TRIP steels are characteristic by multiphase microstructure typically consisting of ferrite, bainite and retained austenite. Within metallographic evaluation several etching methods were applied. Influence on appearance and analys
