Application of the Wedge Test by Hot Rolling at Research of Deformation Behaviour of the Stainless High-Nitrogen Steels
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
Technological formability and recrystallization ability of two high-alloy high-nitrogen steel grades were studied applying the wedge test by laboratory hot rolling. Technological formability of an austenitic P900 steel grade (19Mn-18Cr-0,7N) is satisfactory in the wide temperature range (i.e. ca 800 - 1230 °C), but rollability of a ferritic Cronidur 30 steel grade (16Cr-1Mo-0,3N) is very poor. It exhibits the worst rollability at temperature ca 870 to 990 °C. Hot deformation resistance of both studied steels is almost identical for temperature over about 960 °C. Steel grade Cronidur 30 is much softer at temperatures below ca 850 °C in comparison with steel grade P900. Static recrystallization of a P900 steel grade seems to be very fast and affective inthe austenite grain refinement at temperature 1100 °C. High deformation can even initiate the metadynamic recrystallization at this temperature. Temperature 970 °C is too low for inducing a satisfactory progress of as metadynamic as stat
