The preparation and structural analysis of La-Fe-Si-based alloys and Nd-Fe-B-based alloys
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The La-Fe-Si-based alloys were prepared by vacuum induction melting. The diameter of the final casts was 15 mm. One part of these alloys was stayed in as-cast state, other part was heat treated according to the required conditions (1150 °C, 22 hs, cooling in water) or hot isostatic pressed (1150 °C, 4 hs, 100 MPa). The Nd-Fe-B-based alloys were prepared by vacuum induction melting followed by melt pouring on water-cooled rotating copper cylinder (v = 2-4 m/s). The advantage of this method is the prevention of formation of long dendrites of magnetically soft phase -Fe, and Nd-rich phase is finely and homogeneously distributed throughout the volume of material. The material obtained in the form of strips had the thickness from 0.3 to 0.5 mm. The high resolution field emission gun-scanning electron microscope QUANTA 450 FEG equipped by EDX microprobe was used for the determination of chemical composition of individual phases and the study of structural characteristics.
