Surface activation of mesoporous ordered silica materials by aluminum and rhodium, their characterization and catalytic activity for N2O decomposition
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
Three different mesoporous ordered silica materials such as MCM-41, MCM-41 with aluminum and SBA-15 were prepared. Samples with aluminum (2 ? 3 wt%) grafted on the surface by molecular designed dispersion method (MDD) and aluminum (2 ? 5 wt%) incorporated into MCM-41 were synthesized. In further step, rhodium (1.3 - 2.9 wt%) was used as an active metal for the catalytic reaction of N2O decomposition. Prepared catalysts were characterized by nitrogen sorption, electron-probe microanalysis, energy dispersive X-ray analysis, temperature programmed reduction of hydrogen, temperature programmed desorption of ammonia and UV-vis-DR spectroscopy. The activity of catalysts was in the order Al(incorporated)-MCM-41+Rh > MCM-41+Al(grafted)+Rh > SBA-15+Rh = MCM-41+Rh. The role of different supports influencing the properties of active sites created by rhodium ions is discussed.
