Nine model alloys based on Fe-C-O-X (Y), (X, Y = Cr, Ni) were studied. Alloys contained 0.338 0.382 wt. % of carbon and chromium and nickel in the range of 0.001 - 4.960 wt. %. Temperatures of phase transformations, heat capacities, enthalpy, thermal expansion coefficient and density were studied in the low and high temperature area. The experimental data were obtained using DTA (temperatures of phase transformations), DSC (temperatures of phase transformations, heat capacities, enthalpy, latent heat) and dilatometry (thermal expansion coefficient, density). The experimental data were compared and discussed with the calculation results using SW JMatPro, Thermo Calc and IDS. The influence of various contents of chromium and nickel was studied.
