The subject of the paper is a graphical and an empirical analysis of the convergence of the economic level of the Czech Republic and the Euro zone countries in 1995 - 2010. The main aim is to determine, whether in average the surveyed countries convergedor diverged to the Euro zone economic level in the selected time period. Partial goal is to examine the convergence/divergence process in each year separately and based on the results adopt conclusions on the impact of the global financial and economiccrisis. The method used in the paper is a panel data analysis.
