Health Care Availability Evaluation in the Regions of the Czech Republic

Health is something we all share and it is an object of research from many angles. Many research papers aims to explore if a hospital care is on good level, if it is efficient and financially stable. Examined system in Czech Republic went through a big change after political transformation. Since than many researchers examined it from size efficiency, types and data availability. Some papers used DEA method for selected hospitals. The aim of this article is to evaluate the availability of health services from the point of view of the regions of the Czech Republic for the period from 2014 to 2018 using model TOPSIS. With capital city included the availability is the biggest in Prague, without it is in South Moravian region. The smallest availability is in the Karlovy Vary region with or without capital city included. Based on these calculations it is possible to aim government resources to improve health care standard.
