THE NOTION OF JUSTICE AND ITS PHILOSOPHICAL REFLECTION
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
For any society, justice represents one of the key principles, while individual criteria of justice are determined by the values of the particular political and social groups, which are retrospectively co-determined and shaped by then. In answering the question on the principles of justice, we can derive several recurrent themes. Why does man constantly ask about justice, what is the origin of the phenomenon of justice if its source is of mental or social nature, which are the functions of justice and how they condition the mutual interactions between subjects and institutions, what is the relationship between moral judgments and principles of justice, what criteria co-determine the judgments related to justice, as internalize of principles of justice and its possible change occur, or how mental decisions are reflected in choosing righteous behavior, etc. Finding the correct theory of justice is then seen as one of the necessary paths to preserve the social values of the particular order. Permanent efforts to grasp and define justice demonstrates the specific status of justice as one of the key terms of political philosophy. The text analyses selected concepts of justice and shows their normative character.
