The aim of the research was to verify the material life of the air component of the brake system for trucks. As part of the research, the material and component were exposed to different pressures and temperatures. The identified life characteristics of the unit verify that the component and material are suitable for the application, but help to optimize production and prevent fatal consequences of loss of integrity.
