Energy Management System for the Off-Grid Power Distribution Systems
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
This paper presents in detail a new energy management system (EMS) for off-grid power distribution systems, i.e. distribution systems (DS) isolated from the transmission system (TS). The EMS regulates power flows in the DS and optimizes DS's topology to reach a stable and efficient DS operation. The regulation system is based on the classical power-flow analysis. The power-flow analysis is the first part of the regulation system. In this part, the off-grid DS is described with the DS model, which is connected to the TS and there are power flows between these two systems. After the power-flow analysis, its output data go through the regulation process which edits many DS's parameters to reach the power balance within the DS model and shift the power flows between DS and TS to zero. Next, based on this model, off-grid DS's stable operation parameters are identified. The described EMS makes part of a simulation application to explore and describe the operation of various distribution systems.
