This document reports the work performed on the optimization of the SPACE codes in the first 24 months of the project. It is divided in seven sections focusing on each of the seven codes of the SPACE project. Each code section details technicalities about the optimizations done for CPU, GPU and scalability. It is important to stress that this document does not fully reflect all the work that has been carried out to successfully optimize the codes, since failures and changes of strategy often take a lot of resources.
