Technické parametry
The LEXIS Platform 2 is implemented as multi tenant on-line service exposing web frontend and REST APIs with SDKs as user interfaces. The platform core contains three main components: the backend service called UserOrg, the Distributed Data Interface API (DDI) with Opensearch based metadata index and orchestrator service based on Apache Airflow. The current v2.4 release introduces many improvements, here we highlight the most important ones like introducing compatibility with iRODS v5 and its HTTP API, DSpace repository for data staging, compatbility with HEAppE v6, new YAML based specification and graphical builder for declarative workflows and secure vault for handling credentials to external systems and repositories. Each component which is part of this release has its own detailed release notes in its repository.
