From 18th - 20th June, 2014 at the Eroplán Hotel in Rožnov p. R. a professional conference was held, organized by the team from the Centre of Hyperbaric Medicine of the Municipal Hospital in Ostrava and the Czech Society of Hyperbaric and Aviation Medicine, the Faculty of Medicine of Ostrava University, the Czech Republic (Middle European) Centre for Evidence-Based Healthcare; an affiliated centre of the JBI of the Faculty of Medicine of Palacký University in Olomouc, and the Faculty of Medicine of Charles University in Hradec Králové. The conference followed last year's international conference on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the founding of the Institute of Aviation Medicine in Prague that was held together with 20th Conference of the Czech Society of Hyperbaric and Aviation Medicine of the Czech Medical Association of J.E.
