The article analyses the development and vicissitudes of the fascist ideology in Spain in the 1920ies and 1930ies of the 20th century. It observes the opinions of its first propagandists (Ernesto Giménez Caballero, Ramiro Ledesma Ramos), brings a detailed personal profile of the most important representative of the Spanish fascism, José Antonio Primo de Rivera, and especially tries to answer the complicated question of what was actually the basis of the ideology of the Spanish Falanga. The article attempts to answer this question on theoretical as well as on practical level. Thus it also offers an analysis of Falanga?s concrete political programme from the year 1934, the so called Twenty-seven points.
