Bei der Untersuchung der Phrasemverwendung in den Leitartikeln des Mährischen Tagblatts vom Ende des 19. Jahrhunderts wurden bei mehr als einem Drittel der Phraseme formale und semantische Unterschiede gegenüber den Angaben in den heutigen Wörterbüchernfestgestellt. Der Beitrag geht der Frage nach, inwieweit es sich um ältere Varianten der Phraseme handelt und in welchen Fällen sind eher kontextbedingte Modifikationen anzunehmen.

During the research on the usage of idioms in the editorials of the daily Mährisches Tagblatt from the end of 19th century it was found out that more than one third of the idioms differed in their form or in their meaning from the data in current dictionaries. The paper deals with the question which of these items are older variants of the idioms and in which cases rather context modifications can be assumed.
