This study focuses on the inspirational aspects of the Polish theatre and their transfer to the Czech theatre context of the second half of the 20th century. On specific examples of the studio and authorial scenes in Moravia and Silesia it observes the influence of the anthropological concepts by Jerzy Grotowski and Tadeusz Kantor on the poetics and expressional techniques used in Divadlo Husa na provázku and HaDivadlo. It also shows the examples of the staging works, group projects, and paratheatricalevents with an aesthetical overlap. It pays attention to the other prominent theatrical groups in Moravia and Silesia ? those whose poetics was influenced by the anthropological concept of the Polish theatre. In the second part of the text I look closelyon the aspects of the Polish directorial concepts that drew inspiration from the authorial concepts of Grotowski's and Kantor's theatre, as well as from the tradition of the Polish drama, and the transfer of the aspects to the contempora
