En este trabajo hemos analizado el texto de Samanta Schweblin desde tres perspectivas que consideramos fundamentales para captar la esencia de la estrategia narrativa de la autora: desde las pautas de lo fantástico, concretamente a partir de la lectura del texto como un proceso de transgresión lingüística en tres niveles (sintáctico, semántico y del discurso), desde la narratología extensiva vinculando uno de los temas claves, por sí fantástico, con la estructura narrativa y finalmente dentro de la teoría sobre la (de)construcción del espacio narrativo (zona heterópica) en la narrativa posmoderna. Cada una de las tres perspectivas revela que el texto de Schweblin resiste a una simple clasificación y delimitación dentro de un género o a un malabarismo narratológico. Sin embargo, al mismo tiempo ayuda a distinguir diversos niveles formales y temáticos en la estructura textual.

This study aims to describe the main aspects of narrative discourse in the novel Distancia de rescate by Samanta Schweblin. The paper examines the extent to which the novel can be classified into the genre of fantasy literature, using the application of linguistic transgression theory in three levels: syntactic, semantic and the level of discourse. Naratological analysis examines the parallel between the theme and the types of focalization. The last examined aspect is the strategy of constructing a literary space that exhibits the features of dystopia, based on B. McHale's theory of a "heteropian zone" in postmodern fiction. At the same time, the work tries to prove that the fiction goes beyond the limits of the genre, highlighting the socio-political and ecological context.
