The theme of the conference is the field research as fundamental method of research in the social and cultural anthropology. In their work, anthropologists must deal with intriguing diversity of conditions in various environments. They apply both standard and innovative approaches toward various topics of research. The conference aims at showing and critically assessing this diversity of research methods in anthropology today. The conference presents contributions from diverse perspectives that explore current trends in the field research and add to the knowledge relevant for speaking to social realities in the contemporary globalized world. The conference is open to scholars involved in the field of cultural and social anthropology as well as from related disciplines, working on topics related to human culture and society.
