Im Rahmen einer Afghanistan Konferenz zeigte das Zentralasien-Seminar die Ausstellung Karl Wutt: Zeichnungen der Kalasha. Mensch – Tier – Ornament. Karl Wutt besuchte 1973 zum ersten Mal die Kalasha. Diese Ethnie lebt im östlichen Hindukusch, auf dem Staatsgebiet Pakistans an der Grenze zu Afghanistan. Er brachte den Kalasha Zeichenbücher mit, in die sie nach dem Vorbild ihrer eigenen Ornamente und Rußmalereien zeichen konnten. Die Ausstellung zeigte eine Auswahl der Bilder aus den 250 "Drawing Books", in die Männer, Frauen, Kinder, Junge und Alte gezeichnet haben.

Karl Wutt visited the Kalasha in 1973 for the first time. This ethnic group lives in eastern Hindu Kush, on the territory of Pakistan on the border with Afghanistan. He brought with them the Kalasha drawing books, in which they could sign after the model of their own ornaments and soot paintings. The exhibition showed a selection of images from the 250 "Drawing Books" in which men, women, children, young and old painted.
