  • Popis výsledku v původním jazyce

The aim of this three-day workshop in a conference style was: 1) to bring together students from the CEEPUS (Central European Exchange Program for University Studies) network CIII-CZ-0029´s universities who work on similar topics of MA theses and PhD. dissertations, 2) to provide students with deeper insights into their research by thematic lectures and workshops, 3) to offer space to discuss, exchange and develop ideas about joint PhD. programs and joint PhD. dissertations (theses en cotutelle), 4) to strengthen international scientific cooperation within the network. Nineteen international students - from Poland (Jagiellonski University), Slovakia (Banska Bystrica University), Romania (Cluj University), Bulgaria (Sofia University) and Albania (Shkodra University) - and five Czech students (Palacký University Olomouc) presented their MA and PhD. theses focused on the topic of modern history, politics and culture. Nine academicians (researchers) from seven European countries and universities (Jagiellonski University, Banska Bystrica University - 2 professors, Cluj University, Sofia University, Shkodra University - 2 professors, ELTE Budapest University and Palacký University Olomouc) commented their theses and provided all students with specialized lectures, f.i. on Central and Eastern Europe in the International Relations in the turn of 20th and 21st centuries. The academic and organisational sides of the event were evaluated as excellent in the Mobility Reports of participants. Students appreciated the event as a very inspiring academic dialogue. They appreciated a comparative perspective in which the workshop was organized, they liked also its interdisciplinary approach. They received valuable feedback on their dissertations and many of them presented their paper in front of the international audience for the first time.
