Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The chapter deals with the administration of the Catholic Church in Moravia during the long episcopate of Karl von Lichtenstein-Castelcorno (1664–1695). First, the issue of bishop's election, its papal and imperial confirmation, subsequent intronization and consecration are described. Then the article deals with the administration of the diocese at the highest level, i.e. the issues of the bishop's policy in the selection of consecrating bishops and coadjutors, vicar general and structure of the consistory, the function of the Olomouc Chapter and its relation to the bishop. Special attention is paid to ad limina reports and to the problems the bishop is dealing with the Roman Curia. Subsequently, the chapter deals with the administrative division of the diocese (archdeaconry, deanery, parish) and the Vol. Monitorium, which the bishop issued for the lower clergy of the diocese. Then the question of the reception of the Trident's marriage law, the issue of non-Catholics and heresies and witch trials are solved. Finally, short biograms of Olomouc ordaining bishops are presented and an edition of the ad limina report from 1693 is presented.
