The Mírov armoury with collection of turkish weapons and other obejcts formed the basis of another of Bishop Karl’s von Lichtenstein-Castelcorno public images. With the aid of this armoury he intentionally presented himself within the mould of the venerable archetype of the Christian soldier, who fights for the true faith not only with the weapons of the soul, as pertains to a man of the clergy, but if the situation so requires also with the use of secular means, therefore the power of the sword and the effectiveness of firing weapons.
