Il presente lavoro ha l’obiettivo di analizzare la comunicazione istituzionale di Giorgia Meloni. Assumendo come fonte privilegiata i testi dei suoi discorsi, recuperati direttamente dal sito web del governo, si metteranno in evidenza gli aspetti linguistici, in primis tematici e lessicali, ma anche semantici e retorici, che ne caratterizzano lo stile presidenziale, non rinunciando a un’indagine anche di tipo comparativo con ciò che ha contraddistinto gli anni dell’opposizione. Il primo paragrafo è dedicato a un’analisi tematica nella quale si esamineranno i principali topoi affrontati dalla neo-presidente del Consiglio: l’immigrazione irregolare; i rapporti con UE e Nato; la libertà; il conflitto russo-ucraino. Nel secondo ci si addentrerà nel cuore degli aspetti linguistici, con un’analisi formale che spazierà dall’uso degli anglismi alle principali strategie retoriche utilizzate e per la quale, oltre allo spoglio manuale, ci si è serviti del software AntConc, che ha permesso di individuare con relativa velocità aspetti rilevanti ainostri fini (come la frequenza lessicale).

This paper aims to analyze Giorgia Meloni&apos;s institutional communication. Using her speeches, retrieved directly from the government website, as our primary source, we will highlight the linguistic aspects—primarily thematic and lexical, but also semantic and rhetorical—that characterize her presidential style. This study also includes a comparative analysis of her opposition years.The first section is dedicated to a thematic analysis, examining the main topics addressed by the new Prime Minister: irregular immigration; relations with the EU and NATO; freedom; and the Russian-Ukrainian conflict. The second part delves into the heart of the linguistic aspects, with a formal analysis ranging from the use of Anglicisms to the main rhetorical strategies employed. In addition to manual analysis, we used the AntConc software, which allowed us to identify aspects relevant to our purposes (such as lexical frequency) relatively quickly.
